* Scammer's Alert - Forum * AntiScammer's Program Scammer's Alert Scammer's E-mail List AntiScammer's Program The majority of the internet resources that provide clients place for the announcements on puppy sales or any other house favorites practically are not protected in any way from a scammer getting in the network. All that is offered is some advices that should help the client to distinguish the potential swindler. We can confirm with full confidence that on any open board of announcements is always present from 3 to 5 percent of scammers. And the quantity of swindlers grows proportionally to the quantity of clients or quantity of announcements. I-KENNEL realized a unique complex of procedures for discovering scammers on the server. The complex of procedures includes three levels of protection:    1) Program Level. On the basis of the analysis of the scammer's activity (psychological, technical and emotional) a unique program that calculates the scammer's certain manipulations with data. As all actions of the client on our server from the moment of registration before accommodation of the concrete announcement is automatically registered and analyzed.    2) Visual Level. Any suspicious actions of the potential swindler which are revealed automatically with our program are looked through by special I-KENNEL analyst all day long.    3) Client Level. Any message of a client on suspicion, sent on our electronic address will be instantly forwarded on to special control. With the decision on assigning a client's account the status "SCAMMER", - all his announcements are automatically deleted, its input in the system is blocked, and all the data on the activity of the swindler are brought in to a special database for transfer to the criminal Internet service for further investigation. In case we are not assured of correctness of our decision, we contact this client and we try to receive additional acknowledgement or existence of the puppies exposed on sale or given personal data specified at registration. Due to the listed complex of actions, we can declare with confidence, that possibility for Internet-swindlers to get in our network practically brought to zero. Scammer’s Alert! We are aware that a scam is being perpetrated on our website (as well as our competitor’s). The scammers are usually Africans (many are from Cameroon or Nigeria).    Scammer that will target the sellers will offer to send a money order or cashier’s check with extra amount requesting that the amount to be deducted for the puppy and overpayment be returned to them (or to their “agent”). Then the victim finds that the cashier’s check was counterfeit.    Scammer that will target a buyer will place an ad with a puppy available to purchase. Most of them are from Africa, or may state that they live in the U.S. or Canada or West Europe but they are traveling to Africa. They sell the pups at a very inexpensive price and request payment via money order or Western Union. This is the scam.    You should protect yourself from these frauds. If you are a seller, verify funds prior to sending puppy. If you are a buyer, ask for a phone number, web-page or references from the other buyers, speak to the seller on the phone, get a clear purchase contract with full name, telephones and mailing address.    Most of our breeders have honest intentions, but we cannot protect you for 100% .
